Doctor of Pharmacy

The Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) Degree prepares pharmacists to become valuable members of the health care team. Pharmaceutical advancements and the nation’s growing dependence on pharmaceutical care are creating rewarding career opportunities in pharmacy.

How Does it Work?
LECOM School of Pharmacy offers two pathway choices: a year-round, 2+3 curriculum in Erie and a 2+4 curriculum in Bradenton. Students attend a minimum of two years at accredited undergraduate schools and three or four years of professional pharmacy education at LECOM. The innovative, year-round curriculum at the Erie Campus enables our students to earn their degrees and enter the job market one year earlier.

The program integrates science and hands-on practical experience in each of the pharmacy school years. Our students work with pharmacists in a variety of practice sites that provide valuable learning experiences for their future careers as pharmacists.
